Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with large, comfortable, and immaculately clean rooms. Although the radiator being turned off made it chilly the first night, the overall experience was positive with fantastic service and good location close to the M23 and Hickstead Show Ground.
The hotel exudes a 70s charm but lacks atmosphere, particularly with the unfortunate view from the windows. The cleanliness is commendable, but improvements could enhance the overall feel. Service can be hit or miss, with a mix of attentive and disinterested staff. The location offers both convenience and a touch of unwelcome atmosphere near the entrance. Dining is mediocre, lacking warmth and value, with room for improvement in portion sizes. Room rates may not always align with the experience.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with a seating area, TV, cupboards, extra pillows, trouser press, and dressing table, although the bathroom could use a makeover. The rooms are of good size, clean, and very nice overall, with the bed being a bit uncomfortable.
